Have you ever been to a WordCamp? I’ve attended WordCamps and WordPress meetups online and in person. Usually at a WordCamp there will be multiple presentations going on at the same time, covering a wide spread of topics. From beginner to advanced, designer to developer, business owner, to customer there is usually something useful for everyone.

Some of the most useful tools I have begun using came from a WordCamp presentation. For example, at a time I used SiteOrigin as my builder of choice. It was a plugin I had discovered on my own, but I was able to listed to one of it’s developers at WordCamp Wilmington give some great insight on developing with the plugin.

Since covid unfortunately many WordCamps were put on pause, and some have not been started back. Hopefully given time, we will see the return of the WordCamps and meetups that are no longer active. Just because there isn’t one in a town near you, that doesn’t stop you from “attending” a presentation from a WordCamp.
